For the first time, Audi is using human-robot cooperation (HRC) to apply adhesives in final assembly. Workers and robots now work side by side without any protective fencing. The robot is called KLARA (from the German: "Klebstoffapplikation mit Roboter Assistenz" - adhesive application with robot assistance) and helps to install the large CFRP roofs for the new Audi RS 5 Coupe.
