India’s Reliance Industries has postedrecord quarterly and half-yearly net prof-its but a slightly weaker gross refiningmargin (GRM) — and yet another roundof disappointing revenues for its oil andgas exploration segment — have kept theshine off the company.The Indian giant posted a quarterly netprofit of 57.03 billion crores ($1.17 bil-lion) for the period ended Sep.30, up15.8% from a year ago, while its half-yearprofit — for the April to September peri-od — rose 16.3% year-on-year to 113.64billion crore.
