Solution needed for the pear sucker problem

Methods of tackling pear sucker took centre stage at an East Kent Fruit Society blossom walk as every effort is being made to control the pest. Kent grower Clive Baxter hosted the event around some of his orchards at East Farleigh, near Maidstone, and explained how he was exhausting methods to manage sucker. He said: "If anyone has a fantastic answer to sucker control I'd be very pleased to hear about it."
