摘要

The development of methods for the production of substrates with different spatially resolved functionalities is highly desirable, as their impact may range from semiconductor fabrication to biology. Surface-bound functionalities can serve as templates for the directed assembly of molecules or nano-objects, allowing the bottom-up fabrication of sensors, arrays, and devices.
