摘要

The results of this study show that information representation influences human decision processes. Variations in the measurement scales and the shape of decision matrix lead to different decision processes. Since many routine, repetitive tasks have been taken over by computers and machines, people who once performed mostly these kinds of tasks now must perform more cognitive tasks, such as decision making. It is important for the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) researchers to carefully implement the information representation components that affect human decision processes in the designs of user interface and decision support systems.
