According to an embodiment of the present invention, a reliability designing method includes the steps of: setting a target degree of reliability; extracting the finite number of samples from a population; conducting a system analysis based on the extracted samples; determining a hyper-parameter from the result of the conducted system analysis and a generalized extremal distribution function; calculating a probability density function of the system performance from the hyper-parameter; and analyzing the reliability of the system performance from the calculated probability density function.
