According to the present invention, the method to advance a puzzle matching game, which is a game advancing method executed by a user terminal connected to a game system through Internet, comprises a step of selecting a game stage and a step of executing the puzzle matching game in the game stage. The step of executing the puzzle matching game comprises: a step of generating a game plate in the game stage; a step of generating optimal matching information in accordance with block puzzles arranged in a puzzle area of the game plate; a step of automatically executing puzzle matching play in accordance with the optical matching information; a step of advancing action play in accordance with a puzzle matching play result of the automatic play execution step; and a step of repeatedly executing the optimal matching information generation step, the automatic play execution step, and the action play advancing step until the game plate is finished.
