Venezuela and China look set to strengthen energy ties further with a visit to Beijing this week by Venezuelan Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez. Ramirez arrived in China Tuesday and was scheduled to meet with officials from the Na- tional Development and Reform Commis- sion, as well as representatives from state gi- ants China National Petroleum Corp. (CN- PC), China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) and Sinopec, along with China Development Bank.
