An analytical method for calculating an electric capacitance is proposed. The method is applicable to a wide class of secluted plates. The method proposed is based on using fictitious charge distribution a long the surface of a body whichsubstitutes a conductor. As a potential of a conductor its value in one characteristic point is taken. The sign of an error which is permissible for determining approximate conductor capacitance values are recommended. Quantative results are compared with data obtained by mean of existend methods. That made it possible to confirm a significant increase in the accuracy of a capacitance calculation with a help of the method proposed.
