US converters Fisher Container and Packaging Products Corp. combine to form PPC Flexible Packaging LLC

In early 2017 Private equity firm Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, together with packaging executive Kevin Keneally and existing management acquired US privately held flexible packaging converter Fisher Container. A few months later another converter Packaging Products Corp. (PPC) was acquired via Fisher Container. It has recently been announced that the two companies are to be brought together as a single entity as PPC Flexible Packaging LLC with the aim of growing organically and pursuing further acquisitions as soon as this year. The focus will be on two market segments: consumer packaging and precision clean packaging. Consumer packaging includes human food and pet food markets, while the clean packaging division includes health care, clean room, critical environment and microelectronic applications.
