French retailer has revealed it is using block-chain technology to ensure greater traceabil-ity for fresh tomatoes. Starting with a single product, Filiere Qualite-branded Cauralina coeur de boeuf tomatoes, the company is extending its blockchain trial after applying the technology for the first time in March 2018 for another Filiere Qualite product, namely Auvergne chicken.
