In vitro plantlet regeneration of Pterocarpus marsupium Roxb., an endangered leguminous tree.

摘要

This paper describes the development of Pterocarpus marsupium plantlets via induction of multiple shoots from seedling-derived cotyledonary node explant and their successful rooting and acclimatization. Tabulated data are also presented on the effect of cytokinin and IAA/NAA, with optimal concentration of BA, on shoot proliferation from the cotyledonary nodes of P. marsupium in MS medium.
