London—Norway’s oil and gas industry faces strike action next week that would hit some production if last-ditch negotiations fail, three major unions warned Thursday. After a breakdown in wage talks, the unions are set to have talks with a stateappointed mediator. If those fail, the next step is a strike, they said. One union, SAFE, said it had sent a letter to the mediator Thursday formally announcing the number of its members that could walk off the job.
