Laboratoi experiments were conducted to study the effects of botanical like NSKE (Neem seed karmel extract), Neem gold (neem product), microbial pesticide Bacillus thuringiensis and synthetic insecticides imidacloprid (confidarl7.8SL), acetamiprid (pride 20 SP), monocrotophos (nuvacron 36 SL), lambda-cyhalothrin (4.9 CS) on adult mortality and parasitization efficiency of the egg parasitoid, Tricltogramma chilonis. In toxicity test. Bacillus thuringiensis 5% WP @ 0.2% and NSKE ( Neem seed karmel extract)@5 % concentrations registered up to 11.96 and 13.80 percent mortality of adult parasitoids and parasitization efficiency of 92 and 90 percent respectively. Neem gold @ 5 %, get similar results as mortality of 19.4 percent and 80 per cent efficiency.They are harmless for parasitoid. Experiments with synthetic insecticides revealed that imidacloprid (17.8 SL) @ 0.01 "/o registered minimum 53.33 cent per cent adult mortality and maximum 72 per cent parasitization efficiency. Also acetamiprid (20 SP)@0.02 % registered 78.4 percent maximum adult mortality while Untreated registered adult mortality of 5.4 and parasitization efficiency is 96 per cent. The possibilities of using the botanical, microbial pesticide are safe for parasitoid.
