The 8th Japan - China Steel Talk was held on the 13th of June at Tokyo International Forum in Tokyo and the official of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry ( Steel Section ), who attended at this talk as the representative of Japanese Government, lectured on the 14th about its outlines as follows ; Namely, (1) In view of the production and consumption of steel in China for January - April of 2005, the steel production of China is changing from a rapid expansion as so far seen to a stable growth., (2) Such restructuring as merger, consolidation and so on are progressing even in the steel industry of China.
