PURPOSE: To retrieve and specify a Chinese character easily and speedily even if frequency in its use is low and it is complex and input it to an information processor. ;CONSTITUTION: A kana character-Chinese character dictionary is as follows: a basic element such as a radical constituting a Chinese character is extracted by decomposing the Chinese character, the initial characters of kanas in Chinese style reading and in Japanese style reading are extracted; according to the stroke order of the Chinese character, two or more initial characters are collected to form a character string; the Chinese character is defined according to the character string; the character string, the Chinese characters, the various JIS codes of the corresponding Chinese characters, and a print page on which each item occurs form one set; and the sets are displayed in the 50-kana character order.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
