PRAGUE PIPE JACKING PROJECT COMPLETES INSTALLATION

Installation of HOBAS Jacking Pipes DN1940, SN 50000, PN1 over a 207m long section of new sewer in Prague was recently completed. The section was part of a longer line but pipe jacking was used in this location to cross under the gardens of Prague Castle. The difficult geology, which included high groundwater level and week soil, posed a challenge to the construction company, but installation was completed without problems and on schedule.
