摘要

The purpose of this study is to explore the application value of ecological foreign language teaching mode in college public English teaching, so as to realise the reform of traditional English teaching mode, to help college students improve their efficiency in the process of English learning, and to assist teachers to carry out more targeted teaching activities. Firstly, the concept of education ecology is analysed, and from the perspective of ecology, the interaction and influence of students, teachers, learning environment and teaching media are discussed. Secondly, through the actual investigation, the problems existing in the current college English teaching mode of students and teachers are recorded. On this basis, an optimised teaching mode which is more suitable for college students English learning and communication is constructed based on the traditional teaching mode and the ecological teaching mode. By coordinating the relationship among the ecological factors in the college public English students ecological system, it is not only beneficial to the mutual promotion of teachers teaching and students learning, but also can build a harmonious ecological relationship and realise the coordinated development.
