Bahrain's AL BARAKA made inroads into pricing as it broke fresh ground in the Middle East with its Additional Tier 1 trade. The bank raised US$400m at 7.875% through a perpetual non-call five-year, and in the process became the first sub-investment-grade rated financial from the Middle East to print a Tier 1 bond, according to a banker on the deal.
