An algorithm is proposed for determining the areas ofoverheating of a printed circuit board with electronic components andthe temperature of overheating by analyzing nonlocal data from extendedfilm thermistors. The algorithm is based on the physical-mathematicalmodel of the temperature field of the board, as well as some qualitativecharacteristics of thermal states under study, which compensate the underdefinitionof the original mathematical formulation. The results ofcomputational experiments illustrating the operability of the algorithmare presented.
