Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of health education table in nursing care of patients with lung cancer. Methods A total of 60 patients with lung cancer were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received the conventional health education and the observation group was given health education guided by health education table. The compliance and degree of satisfaction to nursing service were compared between two groups. The selfrating anxiety scale (SAS) and selfrating depression scale (SDS) were used to assess the emotional state of patients. Results The compliance and degree of satisfaction to nursing service were significant higher in the observation group than those in the control group (P<005). The score of SAS and SDS were decreased in both two groups after intervention (P<0.01), and were lower in the observation group than those in the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion Health education guided by health education table can improve the compliance and satisfaction to nursing service, and relieve negative mood of patients with lung cancer.
