This paper introduced research contents and methode of phytochemistry, illustrating how the new drugs mainly derived from plants. With the development and applications of separation science, structure determination and drug screening, phytochemistry became a new focus of modern drugs research and development.%介绍植物化学的研究内容和方法，以实例说明新药物的发现主要来源于植物。随着分离科学、结构测定和药物筛选等学科的技术发展和运用，植物化学已经成为现代新药物研究和开发的热点。
