摘要

该文从介绍诗歌尤其是四行诗的定义,起源,分类,构成要素以及特点着手,帮助了解和分析了四行诗的内在构成尤其是其格律方面的基本特点.进而介绍在中国的英诗汉译特别是四行诗翻译的三个阶段以及每个阶段的翻译代表,翻译方法和阶段特点.在不同阶段,不同翻译家对于诗歌的格律的翻译都有着不同的原则和方法,甚至对诗歌格律形式是否具有可译性都有不同观点.该文通过列举不同观点,分析其背后的理论根据,以及诗歌翻译的历史实践证明诗歌的可译性.关于诗歌翻译所要遵循的原则以及该采取那种切实可行的翻译方法,该文重点进行了分析论证.对诗歌格律形式四个方面以及各个方面忠实原文的不同程度进行等级量化分析,对于在翻译实践中常用的九种不同方法予以大量例证的比较,分析和论证,从而提出在诗歌翻译过程中译者在忠实原文的原则下,在格律形式方面要尽可能的提高其译文的忠实等级,从而在最大程度上做到忠实于原文,从而促使译诗艺术的进步和译诗质量的全面提高.
