"The importance of a blended approach to learning is that it ensures the widest possible impact of a learning experience and thus ensures... that the organization optimizes productivity and delivers value to its customers" (Carman, 2005) Artevelde University College Ghent has a long tradition of organizing its curricula of professional bachelor programs in a student- and competence based manner. Integration of knowledge, skills and attitudes in an 'optimal blend' framework challenged our attention.
