In recent years, a technology of wireless power transfer (WPT) system for EV/PHEV has been developed to facilitate battery charging. In the WPT system, since the magnetic field leaks to the surroundings of the vehicle, it is important to evaluate the quantitative exposure to the human. ICNIRP recommends guidelines for human body protection for the purpose of conducting appropriate assessment on safety. In this paper, we evaluate the leakage magnetic field with the parking pattern and the feeding phase as the parameter for each of the two vehicles simultaneously supplied with 3.7 kW of transmission power and 85 kHz of frequency. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the leakage magnetic field was lower than the reference level of the ICNIRP guidelines in any case, and the leakage could be reduced by controlling the phase difference of the two WPT systems for each parking pattern.
