Appeal Regarding the Reasonable Duration of the Criminal Trial

The appeal is met as an ordinary appeal introduced in Chapter III, after the appeal call, it being mentioned in various institutions of the new Criminal Procedure Code, namely the right to liberty and security, incompatibility of the judge, legal medical psychiatric expertise, challenging the preventive measures. Appeal on reasonable length of criminal proceedings is, however, a newly introduced special procedure aimed at assessing the time for criminal prosecution or trial and to set deadlines for their execution, to be in compliance with the European Court of Human Rights.
