The Global Mobile System is used as a method for protection against criminality where the voice of a perpetrator of a criminal act is picked up, more easily identified and possibly deters other potential criminals. If a GSM apparatus is functioning at the time of the occurrence, the sound can be picked-up and stored. On the apparatus is a button, which once during a specific period must be pressed, bringing into connection an installation where the sound is stored. The button must be so made that it does not form the connection accidentally. For example: a button acts upon the rear side of the global mobile system and must be pressed during a number of seconds. In the installation, after five minutes, there must be an automatic switchover to a telephone of an entrusted person of the owner of the GSM. Such a person can listen to and take note of the picked-up sound, taking action to obtain help in the situation.
