摘要

Optimal production planning is important task for facility management and its suitable solution leads to significant reduction of joint production costs. This contribution presents a genetic algorithm application on solving of planning issue where not only production cost but also storing and shipping costs are taken in account. Illustrative example shows potential of presented algorithm in comparison of three commonly used schedule-respected production planning strategies.
