This article reports on the evaluation of the attitudes and expectations of English language teachers in Turkiye about the use of Web-Based learning program in their professional development. Participants of the study included 13 students enrolled in the e-ELT (Internet-Based English Language Education) program run by the English Language Teaching Department of the Institute of Educational Sciences at Yeditepe University. The participants were administered a self-report questionnaire consisting of 20 items representing three different categories such as the beliefs, attitudes and expectations. In addition to that semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants. The data collected from the questionnaires were analysed by using SPSS program. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were used to analyse the data. Content analysis was used to analyse the interview results. The results obtained from both instruments and interviews indicated that most of the participants had positive beliefs about and attitudes towards participating to the e-ELT program and their professional development. In addition to this, they had high expectations about implementing what they have gained out of this e-ELT program.
