摘要

In Poland the school year 2015/16 was the only year of obligatory school education for 6-year-old children because new authorities decided to increase the school threshold up to 7 year, explaining this change is due to lack of school maturity of the 6-year-olds. This article presents results of several years of research concerning children’s readiness to start school education, their emotions, feelings and emotional behaviours. The results of the research comprise years 2014 - 2017.
