A New framework for Generating Key Performance Indices of OLB Module line at LCD Manufacturing

Optimal scheduling of production lines is important in diversified and complex current manufacturing sites. Simulation-based advanced planning and scheduling (APS) system is employed to handle the difficulties from complicated process such as job-shop. Key performance indices (KPIs) to assess the scheduling is more critical because the KPIs have effects on not only dispatching rule of simulation-based APS but evaluation quality of scheduling plan. A new framework for development of KPIs is proposed and tested modified KPIs through outer lead bonding (OLB) process case.
