Determination of Bisphenol A, Bisphenol A diglycidylether and its derivatives in canned foods using liquid chromatography/electrosprayionization tandem mass spectrometry

Chromatographic separationof Bisphenol A, Bisphenol A diglycidyl ether and itsderivatives in canned foods was achieved using gradient program following OASIS HLB and C18 solid extraction cartridge. Bisphenol A in canned food were quantified as selective reaction monitoring (SRM) ions by each optimal collision energy. The minimum detection limits were below sub-ppb. It could be shown that an LC-ESI-MS/MS method could be cuccessfully applied to the quantification of bisphenol A and its reaction products in canned foods.
