There arc specific ages and levels of maturity that mark an individual's progress through the stages of the education system. These stages include pre-school, elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and adult education. As any teacher will tell you, the transition from one stage to the next is not always smooth or easy. This paper will describe the various stages of the Administrative Data Processing (ADP) Help Center and share the goals and processes that are currently in place. The ADP Help Center is currently in the early college stage of maturity and new skills are continually being developed. This paper will discuss these new skills, which include implementing help desk utilities such as remote control software and determining if a centralized software distribution package such as Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) is a viable fit for a university campus.
