The present invention comprises: a reaper that reaps planted grain culm of a field; a threshing device that threshes the reaped grain culm and sorts same into sorted material including normal grain and waste material other than the sorted material; a grain tank 12 in which the sorted material is stored; transport devices 29, 30 that transport the sorted material from a sorter to the grain tank 12; a temporary storage unit 46 that removes and stores a portion of the sorted material being transported by the transport devices 29, 30; an imaging unit 47 that images the sorted material stored in the temporary storage unit 46; and an image analyzing unit that analyzes the image captured by the imaging unit 47 and carries out determination processing for classifying the sorted material stored in the temporary storage unit 46 into normal grain and foreign matter other than normal grain mixed in with the sorted material.
