CONFIRMATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CARD OF PERSON INSURED OF HEALTH INSURANCE AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately confirm the items described on a card of a person insured of the national health insurance or the health insurance with no labor nor time required. SOLUTION: In this confirmation system 11, the items described on an insurance card inputted via an input device 13 are turned into a bar code by a controller 12. Then the bar code is printed by a printer 14 and a bar code label is produced. The bar code label is stuck on the insurance card and the data on the described items of the card are registered in an external storage 17. When these described items are confirmed, the bar code stuck on the insurance card is read by a bar code reader 15. Then the controller 12 collates the data on the bar code with the data on the described items of the insurance card which are previously registered in the storage 17. Thus, it is decided whether the represented insurance card is identical to the one that is first accepted.
