PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic health insurance card system, terminal equipment, calculators, a health insurance card information transmitting method, a health insurance card information transmission program, and a computer readable recording medium, in which the program is recorded, which are used for easily transferring insurance information from a remote place especially to a medical institution while maintaining safety and simply executing the accurate maintenance of insurance card information and the adjustment of a fee for medical advice. SOLUTION: A card reader-writer 102 reads out health insurance card information from a health insurance card information card 101 and transmits the read information to a computer 110 in the medical institution through a communication line 130 together with card information acquired by a personal certification device 103. The computer 110 certificates the person concerned and calculates a fee for medical advice. An insurer's computer 120 adjusts the fee for the medical advice on the basis of the fee calculated by the computer 110.
