PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal conversion device between an RS232C interface and an RS485 interface which can execute communications between an RS232C side external equipment and a CPU internal bus and between an RS485 side external equipment and the CPU internal bus while executing signal conversion between the RS232C interface and the RS485 interface. ;SOLUTION: When a signal conversion mode is judged by mode judging means 52, 58, input data from an RS232C port 50 are stored in a storage means 46 and transmitted to the CPU internal bus 41. The input data stored in the means 46 are simultaneously outputted also to an RS485 port 66. Input data from the port 60 are similarly processed.
