End sleeves for mounting on ends of electrical conductors and method of handlingthe end sleeves and methods of applying identification marks to end sleeves

For use in mounting electrical wires (2) in e.g. terminal boards, there are used end sleeves (6) with identification marks on an extruded tag (4) and manufactured in belts (11) which may be continuous, short sections, discrete end sleeves or in rolls. The end sleeves are grouped in sets (14) with two end sleeves in each set wherein the identification marks are identical. The sets mutually have consecutive numbers and/or letters in order in each belt. Thereby the end sleeves may be used in the order in which they occur at the separation from the belt and there is an end sleeve for each end of the wire.
