The drive has a rigid splined unit (S) and a flexible splined unit (FS), also an ellipse shaped deflection generator (wave generator (WG)) which dynamically deforms the flexible unit (FS) in such a manner. The splines of the rigid and the flexible unit are constantly brought into engagement in two separate regions, so that the flexible unit moves relative to the rigid unit. The deflection generator (WG) has piezo adjusting elements, which are arranged locally fixed relative to the flexible unit, and which deforms the flexible unit, with length alterations tuned to each other. The piezo stacking actuators (PS) are coupled together is a displacement translation unit (WE). The linear expansion of the stacking actuators are enlarged using a lever arm (HA), rotationally located in such a way. That the lever arm deflected by the actuator, deforms the elastic unit. In addition the flexible piezo actuators (BP) are provided, which directly deform the flexible unit (FS) to an ellipse.
