PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a achievement evaluation method, using a neural network which can be suitably used for evaluation of an individual achievement in a company or the like. SOLUTION: Known input information x1-xi, regarding a plurality of achievement indexes, is inputted to a computer for executing arithmetic operations by the neural network, and evaluation output information z is obtained. The evaluation output information and known achievement evaluation are compared with each other, and the weight of the neural network is controlled so as to reduce errors in both. Then, the evaluation output information is obtained from the input information of a plurality of the achievement indexes for the unknown achievement evaluation. Also, in the process of control so as to reduce the errors, when the errors do not converge to a minimum value, it is judged that at least one of the achievement indexes is correlated low with the achievement evaluation.
