The invention refers to pharmaceutical compositions which have an enhanced antitumour activity and/or reduced side effect(s) comprising a known active substance having antitumour effect or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a hydroximic acid derivative of formula (I) or a therapeutically useful acid addition salt thereof. Disclosed is also the use of the said active components for preparation of such pharmaceutical compositions and use of the hydroximic acid derivatives of formula (I) or therapeutically useful acid addition salt thereof for preparation of pharmaceutical composition, which reduces side effects of active substances with antitumour effect.
