PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high reliable estimation processing and objectively verify the basis of estimate, estimate history and the results of estimate by estimating material costs and construction costs based on the quantities of materials by computer processing. ;SOLUTION: Kinds of temporary scaffoldings hierarchically classifying the construction works in a specifying manner are selectively input in step 1. Next, specifications or constructing conditions for selected temporary scaffoldings are set and input in step 2 and arithmetically processed and the kinds of materials and their quantity 3 are determined. Next, the materials and construction costs for the relevant work are estimated in step 6 based on a material unit price data file 4 and a percentage calculation table data file 5. In succession, labor cost, material cost, material weight, list by material, heaped capacity, time schedule and temporary facility area are respectively edited, displayed and output in step 7. Also as required, part of numerical data are transmitted as an input source for preparing scaffolding drawings by CAD 9.
