PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that a shop opening way does not correspond to the actions of consumers who usually goes to a bookstore and purchases a book by differently comparing merchandises at the store or purchases a reputable book, i.e., a best seller.;SOLUTION: The several bookstores for integrally handling various categories of books are networked via the Internet or a LAN, etc., so as to total whole sales performance by week or month. The cumulative data are minutely analyzed/extracted by categories corresponding to the taste of the consumers, such as a "detective story", a "scientific fiction", "travel literature", or a "business book" or internal/external classification, so that the best selling books are set in each division. Purchase is decided based on the setting.
