PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new additive which attains the improvement of optical characteristics (refractive index, extinction coefficient and shortening of wavelengths) difficult to solve by designing the molecular structure of colorant, and to provide a composite coloring material therefor and an optical information recording medium using the coloring material.;SOLUTION: The composite coloring material comprises: a fluorine-based oligomer being a fluoroalkyl group-containing oligomer represented by general formula, RF-(M)n-RF' (wherein RF and RF' are each a fluoroalkyl group and may be the same or different; M is a monomer having a hydrophilic group; and n is an integer of ≥1), for example, a fluoroalkyl group-containing oligomer of the formula shown herein; and a colorant having a phenolic hydroxy group.
