PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new compound giving an electrophotographic receptor having high sensitivity and high durability and useful for laser printer, shutter printer, etc., by introducing a specific bisazo structure into a fluorenone. ;SOLUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I {R1 is a halogen, nitro, OH, a (substituted)alkyl, an aralkyl, an aryl(oxy), a substituted amino, etc.; X is O, S or NR2 [R2 is a (substituted) alkyl, an aryl or can aralkyl]; K1 and K2 are each a coupler residue containing OH having coupling potency; (m) is 0-4}, e.g. the compound of formula II.
