The rail motor lift has a metal construction which serves as a support for an outboard motor at a push pit and for lowering and raising the motor. A motor mounting plate remains parallel during rotation motion and is then inclined. The inclination of the mounting plate is maintained by two equal longitudinally parallel frames (10) that are mounted at different heights and moved at same time. The frames are rotatably supported at parallel transverse axis such that a secure and stable storage and movement of the motor is enabled.
