Capillary electrophoresis method to determine the enantiomeric excess of 3-carboxiadipic acid in mineral samples. The objective of the invention is to develop an analytical method of capillary electrophoresis (EC) separation using a macrocyclic antibiotic as chiral selector in order to establish the enantiomeric excess (ee) of 3-carboxy adipic acid (R and S) after adsorption on minerals The invention consists in the use of vancomycin (VC) as a chiral selector in phosphate buffer of pH 6.0, which with the application of a separation voltage of -20 kV, a temperature of 15 ° C and using UV detection at 192 nm has allowed separation and detection of each of the enantiomers.
