PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rule performance management apparatus 2 that can evaluate rules used in operation management under autonomous control in terms of business value.;SOLUTION: The rule performance management apparatus 2, before starting a process prescribed in a rule, collects system state information representing states of a monitored information system necessary to calculate a business value and saves the collected system state information in association with information identifying the process to be started and information representing a start phase of system state information, and after finishing the process prescribed in the rule, re-collects system state information representing states of the monitored information system, saves the collected system state information in association with the information identifying the finished process and information representing an end phase of system state information, and calculates the business value from the saved system state information and rule execution history according to a given calculation expression.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
