摘要

The method involves interconnecting an LED e.g. organic LED, in an output circuit, and magnetizing an inductor (L1) if a switch (S1) is clocked actively. A measured actual value representative for average value of LED current is utilized as a feedback variable for regulation of the LED, where the actual value is compared with a reference value. The actively clocked switch is switched on at one time if the indirectly or directly detected current is degraded to zero. A pulse-width repetition rate of the switch is changed as a control variable over the time of switching off of the switch. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a circuit for regulation of power of an LED (2) an illumination system.
