PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify an information propagation path in a Web with high accuracy. PSOLUTION: The information propagation path identification device 100 includes: a common character string identification part 2 detecting a character string common between each of a plurality of Web pages to be evaluated and each of a plurality of other Web pages, identifying the number of characters constituting the detected character string as a relevance degree label, and specifying the maximum relevance degree label as an evaluation label; and an information propagation path identification part 5 identifying, for all Web page pairs, one Web page pair having the maximum evaluation label from the plurality of Web page pairs when there are a plurality of Web pages which have the character string common to each Web page and have been created relatively before it, to specify the propagation path of the information in the Web.
